1. Overview
MACRO Recruitment Australasia Pty Ltd (trading as MACRO Recruitment) connects skilled workers and Australian employers across a range of industries.
While we assist visa holders in finding compliant employment, MACRO Recruitment does not act as a sponsor for labour-hire or contract workers.
All sponsorship arrangements are managed directly between the employer and the Department of Home Affairs, where applicable.
2. Important Sponsorship Policy
To avoid any misunderstanding:
- MACRO Recruitment does not sponsor or nominate workers for visas.
- Where an employer is open to sponsorship, the job advertisement will clearly state this.
- If a job advertisement does not mention sponsorship, you should assume the employer is not able to sponsor.
- Candidates must hold current and valid working rights in Australia before being considered for any vacancy.
3. For Job Seekers (Visa Holders and Applicants)
We welcome applications from candidates who:
- Hold valid Australian working rights (e.g. 482, 485, 408, 190, 186, 494, or Working Holiday visas).
- Are seeking full-time, contract, or temporary roles with compliant Australian employers.
- Understand that sponsorship opportunities are employer-dependent, not agency-based.
Our consultants verify each candidate’s VEVO work rights prior to placement and match them only with roles suitable for their visa conditions.
4. For Employers (Sponsorship-Eligible Businesses)
If your business is registered or eligible to sponsor skilled workers, MACRO Recruitment can:
- Assist with labour market testing (LMT) and advertising compliance.
- Provide candidate shortlists that meet Department of Home Affairs skill and salary criteria.
- Connect you with registered migration partners to manage nomination and visa processing.
We do not provide migration advice ourselves but can refer clients to licensed Migration Agents (MARN holders) when required.
